Jonas Holm oversees how Gerstner teaches: the studio format, the semester calendar and the way students are assessed. He trained as a mathematician and still teaches first-year statistics every autumn.
He led the move from written exams to reviewed projects across the bachelor programmes, and chairs the committee that approves every new course.
Students know him for his open Thursday hour, when anyone can walk into his office with a question about their programme.
